IMA currently operates two ambulatory care centers. Located in Shrewsbury and Middletown, these centers function as traditional �walk-in� centers and offer an alternative to the Hospital emergency room for minor emergencies, injuries and illnesses during our off hours.

Of course, if you are experiencing a major emergency you should call 911 for transport to your nearest emergency room. In particular, in case of a potential heart attack or stroke you must get to the emergency room without delay, as modern treatments for these problems may be able to limit or prevent permanent damage if aggressive care is received immediately. Time is of the essence!
